Once BAISD, Always BAISD!

One of the sweetest parts of Opening Day was welcoming some familiar faces back to BAISD! Several of our retirees returned to celebrate the start of another school year, reconnect with colleagues, and share in the excitement of a new beginning.

And this year, a few brought some very special guests along—their grandchildren!

It was a wonderful reminder that the relationships built at BAISD extend far beyond the years we spend working together. Our retirees will always be an important part of the BAISD family, and we loved seeing generations come together to celebrate education, connection, and community.

Now Hiring: Student Success Coordinator – Early Middle College
Help students turn their goals into a plan for success!

Bay-Arenac ISD is seeking a Student Success Coordinator – Early Middle College to help students explore career pathways, overcome barriers, and stay on track academically.

In this role, you'll work closely with students, staff, and community partners to monitor progress, develop Career Pathway Plans, and connect students with the resources they need to succeed.

This is a part-time position, 32 hours per week.

🌱 Rooted in Today. Growing for Tomorrow. 🌳

The BAISD Career Center kicked off the new school year by focusing on what it means to build a culture of growth-as individuals, as a team, and as a learning community.

Throughout opening week, staff explored the power of a growth mindset, embracing new opportunities, supporting one another, and continuing to grow in the ways we serve students.

Today, that commitment took root-literally! 🌳 Staff came together to plant a tree that will serve as a lasting symbol of our commitment to keep learning, keep growing, and keep reaching higher together.

And because growth deserves to be celebrated…we ended with a sweet treat! 🧁💚
