Hopefully you've enjoyed your stem kits this summer. Here's a classic to try, Elephant toothpaste! Let's see those Bobcats rocking their science skills.

Time for another fun summer STEM activity, this one’s going to be messy! Today we are making elephant toothpaste and it’s going to be awesome! The foam produced during the chemical reaction is special because each tiny foam bubble is filled with oxygen. The yeast acts as a catalyst (a helper) to remove the oxygen from the hydrogen peroxide. This experiment is called an exothermic reaction, which means it released heat when the foam was created! The foam produced is just water, soap, and oxygen, so you can clean it up with a sponge and pour any extra liquid left in the bottle down the drain. You will need a plastic soda bottle, dry yeast, warm water, hydrogen peroxide, dishwashing, and food coloring.

Summer enrichment trip #2 for our mighty Bobcat Travelers was to the Saginaw Zoo. What could be better than animals, carousel rides and reading!

First summer enrichment trip is in the books. The destination Friday was Dow Garden and The Whiting Forest. They did an amazing job of being brave in the high places and having a blast in the playground. Can't wait to see all the fun you'll have next Friday at the Zoo.

Last day of school at Linsday. This principal might be biased, but this is the greatest group of educators!

For the last full day of school the Linsday staff had a little fun. PAWS characteristic beach balls and some silly string made for a fun way to end the day. Come have more fun with us Tuesday as we honor our 5th graders with a clap out.

Huge shout out to our Principal for the Day, Chloe! She did an amazing job greeting students in the morning, reading to kindergarten helping with office hijinks, giving some positive notes to students working hard and eating lunch with the office staff. Great job Principal Chloe!

Our last day of school is here! Dismissal is at 11:55 on Tuesday.

5th Grade Clap Out will be at dismissal time. Anyone wishing to join the celebration can start gathering near the main entrance at 11:45.
