Today, Mrs. Juliann’s class officially opened our brand-new Busy Bee Café beverage cart! We are so excited to introduce Fun Drink Fridays for our amazing faculty and staff! 💛

Today’s special was Coke Floats, and our students had so much fun preparing and delivering them to our staff members. 🥤✨

This fun experience gives our students the opportunity to practice basic math skills, social skills, communication, and functional life skills in a meaningful, hands-on way.
Our classroom loved spreading a little sweetness throughout the school today! We can’t wait to see what’s on the menu for our next Fun Drink Friday! 🐝💛🥤

Kindergarten has been BUSY this week! 💛

📚 We continued our Nursery Rhymes unit, practicing rhymes, characters, events, and writing the sounds we hear in words.

✏️ In Skills, we practiced listening for sounds and used Play-Doh to strengthen our fine-motor skills.

🔢 In Math, we practiced counting and representing numbers 1–5.

We also enjoyed plenty of creativity, friendship, and playground fun! ☀️ We are so proud of all our little learners! 💛

📚 CKLA: Nursery Rhymes—listening, reciting, acting, and creating artwork
✏️ Skills: Practiced early writing strokes (lines & circles) using sand, Play-Doh, crayons, and more 🖍️
🔷 Math: Explored patterns, shapes, position words, and pattern blocks while learning to work together and independently 🧠💡

Most importantly, we learned how to be Kindergarteners—following routines, growing friendships, and becoming a classroom family 💛

We are so proud of our youngest BPS learners! 🥹🐝 Here’s to an amazing 2026–2027 school year ahead!

Don’t forget 🤞 Friday is kindergarten Independence Day!
TOMORROW (8/13) is the last day that you will be able to walk your K child down to the classroom!
Please let your child show you the way to their classroom if you haven't done so already.
There will be many staff members who will make sure our honeybees arrive to their classroom safely.🐝📚
