♟️🐾 WILDCAT GUILD: LEARNING, LEADING & GETTING READY TO COMPETE! 🐾♟️
Our Wildcat Guild met yesterday to prepare for our upcoming monthly event: a Chess Tournament! 🏆♟️
Guild members spent the afternoon either practicing their chess skills or learning how to play for the first time. Some students used traditional chess boards and pieces, while others jumped online to set up matches and learn the game through play.
It was great to see our Wildcats helping one another, learning together, and trying something new!
But we also had some exciting leadership news...
📣 An officer position became available, and our Guild Chancellor selected a new member to join the leadership team!
🎉 WELCOME TO THE OFFICER TEAM, CHASE WEST! 🎉
Chase is stepping up to help lead our Guild alongside the Chancellor and our other officers. The leadership team is responsible for planning and organizing the activities that our Guild members voted to host throughout the school year.
And they're already hard at work! 👀
🎲 This week, our Chancellor and officers will be putting the final touches on our October Strategy Game Night! They'll be announcing all of the details soon, so keep an eye out for the announcement!
👏 Thank you, Chase, for stepping up to help lead the Wildcat Guild! We're excited to see what you and the rest of our leadership team accomplish this year.
🐾 Learn. Play. Connect. Lead.
