Congratulations to Dr. Ben Horner!

We are proud to celebrate Dr. Horner, Principal of Appling County High School, for being named one of four finalists for Georgia High School Principal of the Year! ❤️🖤

This honor reflects his outstanding leadership and dedication to ACHS students and staff, as well as the teamwork of our entire school community.

We also would like to recognize Mr. Garrett Cranford, CTAE Director, Mr. Seth Taylor, Dean of Students and Athletic Director, and our Special Education Coordinator, Bryan Weaver, who are not pictured but are valued members of our leadership team.

INFORMATION FOR PIRATE FOOTBALL

Game Date: Thursday, 8/27/26
Game Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Pooler Stadium; 200 Preston Stokes Drive. Pooler Ga.

Tickets: Go Fan Only. No cash or credit card options at the gate. (Search for Appling County High School or New Hampstead High School)

Other Information: Everyone entering the stadium will pass through a Weapons Detection System, as well as walk through a K-9 drug screening area.

Clear Bags only.
