Mrs. Hutchinson's second graders brought a classic work of art to life! After reading about Jean Simeon Chardin's Soap Bubbles, students talked about what they could observe and infer from the painting. They then put their learning into action by making bubbles of their very own!

We love when reading, art, and hands-on learning come together. What a fun way to make a story come alive!

Celebrating Georgia Pre-K Week at ACPS! Our Pre-K students had a special visitor yesterday! We were excited to welcome Dr. Dixon, who took time out of his busy schedule to read to our youngest Buccaneers. We are thankful for leaders who recognize the importance of early learning and take the time to invest in our students.

Our Fall Fundraiser was a HUGE success! We celebrated with an epic SLIME party! Our students had a blast making their very own slime -- and then they got to put it to good use. . covering Coach Jessica!
Thank you to Coach Jessica for volunteering and helping make the day so much fun for our Buccaneers. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fall fundraiser and helped make this day possible.
