This poor sweater has been marooned on Sleeve Island for so long, like so, so long. Remember that one time I lived on a 50ft sailboat on the Pacific Ocean? Yeah.... that long. My oldest/longest time-out project.
Now that I have actually drafted the pattern for the sleeves, I hope to finish it by next week. It's supposed to look like tree silhouette and Northern lights. Do you see it? 🫶🐑Someone keep me accountable.🐑🫶 There's not many things in life that I need a cheerleader for, but now, getting through this project, I would love one. ❤️ This, for some reason, became an Everest ⛰️ for me.

There are new things happening. ✨️ 4 bags full of Nevada grown merino wool. This will keep me busy for.... a long, long time... Thank you to Pete Paris for the wool. For those of you who have been interested in how to process wool from fleece to roving, welcome to my next 6 months. Is anyone interested in being an apprentice? 🐑🤣 Someone come help me, save me from my insanity.
