How can this be? When Vivi (Sutton) Witt and I connected about the recent passing of Dale Durose and Lori/Lorette (Brummel) Sanchez, she shared with me that the Class of '74 also lost Mary (Huffstutler) Noble to cancer on August 8, 2025. Prayers go out to her family as they mourn. 😢

It is with sadness that I share the passing of two of our classmates from the Class of '74: Lori Brummel (a.k.a. Lorette Brummel and Lori/Lorette Sanchez) and Dale Durose. 😥 Dale passed on September 4, and his service is on October 4 from 1:30 to 4:00 at the Covington House at 4201 Main Street in Vancouver. For those of you on Facebook, please share this with all our friends who knew and loved Dale.

Lori passed away earlier this year on April 24. For those of you who aren't aware, Lori's sister Debbie was married to our classmate Gary Cobb, who passed away in May 2023.

ATTENTION FELLOW CLASSMATES:

Do you have photos from our 1979 reunion that took place at what they called the Airport Inn on 117th Avenue/SR 503? 🤔 Melodie (Spiva) Jones has been scanning our old reunion photos that weren't already in digital format and is storing them online. That is the only reunion year we're missing. Our dear Carl Savage had an album of the old photos, but there were no photos in there from the five- year reunion. Please comment below if you have any, and I will contact you with Melodie's email address. She'd prefer digital copies (scanned at a high resolution) emailed to her. However, if they are not already in a digital format and you feel comfortable mailing them to her, she'd be happy to scan them and mail them back to you. If you don't have photos but you remember someone else taking photos that evening, please share this request with them.

Greetings Classes of 74, 75 and 76!
It will be such a treat to get together on August 9, 2025 to see our friends from high school. Some of us have not seen each other for 50 years! Let’s have a good time and renew our friendships.
Greg and Dixie Evans have a beautiful venue called “H’ Evans Acres” where we will have our reunion. The woodsy setting is very roomy with a stage for our band, Whiskey Blue, plenty of parking organized by Dennis Moore and his SeaBees, yard games (axe throwing, redneck horseshoes, co****le, ladderball…,) a great food truck and raffle tickets for a Sternwheeler ride, Seaside Worldmark Resort for October 25-27th for a one bedroom deluxe room, a Sunset Sailboat Ride AND, please contact us with more cool things we could raffle off. You may call me, Dennise Larson, to offer your help or any thing to raffle. Thanks!

Susie Weber LeCount is going to pick up a couple of yummy reunion cakes from Costco for us. Please be sure to get your photos before they’re eaten.
Cheryl Herrington Millman has been busy collecting names and addresses of class members. If you added you name to the Facebook list, it’s likely she’s got your email to send you the invitation. If you only have email or snail mail, please let her know and she’ll contact you off Facebook. You can also call me with your information. Cheryl, we need to get together to discuss the treasury. I have a good idea.
It has been a pleasure working with you all. I will be taking a lighter roll from now until the reunion. For the last four years I’ve been dealing with chronic fibromyalgia and it is getting worse. I will do what I can, like taking phone calls. I will try to be at the next meeting and I hope many of you can be there too. If you’d like to contact me, call 360-773-5588.
