Location: Keiki's Learning Center – Battle Ground
Keiki's Learning Center is growing, and we're looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team!
Open Position:
Closing Teacher: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Hours may vary, and additional hours may be available as needed.)
Job Responsibilities
Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
Assist with classroom coverage during teacher breaks and lunches.
Fill in for teachers who are absent or on vacation.
Support children with daily routines, learning activities, and play.
Work as part of a positive, team-oriented childcare environment.
Specific schedules, classroom assignments, and expectations will be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
DCYF Background Check Clearance
30-Hour Basic STARS Training
Current TB Test
Infant/Child/Adult CPR & First Aid Certification
Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV Training
High School Diploma or GED
One of the following:
ECE Initial Certificate (or equivalent)
ECE State Certificate (or equivalent)
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
Current Immunization Records
All required certificates must be completed through the DCYF Student Portal.

🌟 Exciting News from Keiki's Learning Center! 🌟

Keiki's Learning Center is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Preschool Program for the 2026–2027 school year, beginning this Fall!

Our preschool program is designed for children ages 3–5 years old and will follow the Battle Ground School District calendar. Program hours will be 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, with half-day options available to meet your family's needs.

Our Preschool Program Includes:
✅ Kindergarten readiness curriculum
✅ Social and emotional development opportunities
✅ Hands-on learning experiences
✅ All classroom supplies provided
✅ Nutritious meals and snacks included
✅ Small-group learning and individualized support

Our goal is to help children build confidence, develop important social skills, and prepare for a successful transition to kindergarten in a fun, nurturing environment.
