There will be Memorial Gathering for Dallas at the Art Center on Saturday, November 7th from 1 to 3 pm. There will also be a tribute exhibit in honor of Dallas at the Art Center in November and December featuring some of Dal's extraordinary artwork.

Roxanne O'Neil is an oil painter wth has just started exhibiting with our club and her work is really exceptional. This guitar is the first example of her work and shows her master level skill with composition and exploration of the realist style of painting. This guitar seems to almost come right out of the painting and you can almost feel the music. Be sure to stop at the Bronson Gallery to see this work.

Our first meeting of the year will be Friday, September 25, at the Art Center of Battle Creek, 265 E. Emmett St. we would like to invite the community to this free open meeting at 12:15 to hear wildlife watercolor artist Peter Phelps talk about his journey and how he uses his very detailed watercolors to illustrate the Nature we enjoy here in Michigan

Peter Phelps has captured this little owl perfectly in watercolor the medium that many (including me) find to be the hardest media of all. Again please try to see through the sunlight glare on the glass. Once the paintings are hung we can't get them back down to change the position and take a better shot. So you just have to go to the Bronson Gallery to see them and see the amazing detail Peter has captured any week day from 9 to 4

This beautiful watercolor was done by artist/member, Peter Phelps. He will be our first presenter at our kick off meeting on Friday, September 25th. He has started painting a few years ago and quickly expanded his vision and had his own solo show at the Battle Creek Art Center already. You can see this painting and others by Peter at the Bronson Gallery. We would also like to invite the public and anyone interested in watercolor and art to join us for a free open meeting at the Battle Creek Art Center, 265 E. Emmett St in Battle Creek. We start at 12:30 with a short business meeting and social time then our presenter, Peter Phelps will be talking about his art journey and his watercolor techniques.

From a Marshall setting comes this incredible take on an antique car, from the dynamic composition to the very accurate and detailed rendering of the car, this painting is a must see. A Rare Rainbow Cloud Appearing Above El Capitan in Yosemite 🌈🏔️
