Parents, guardians and students, our 1st Parent/Teacher conferences of the 2026 - 2027 school year are scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm. Our address is: 765 Upton Avenue, Springfield, MI 49037.

Also, our 1st Student Support day of the 26/27 school year is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026 for those students who have been invited by their respective teacher(s). This is by invitation only for those students who are currently not passing their class(es) to be able to get some extra help with their assignments to get them to a passing grade. There will be an automated call go out to those students who have been invited..

Parents, guardians and students - if your student is fully virtual and they are scheduled to attend class on Friday, they are to still report for their regular scheduled session.

Our in seat students have an early release day tomorrow, they will be dismissed at 10:55 am. A sack lunch will be available for them, if they wish to take one. The early dismissal is only for our in seat students, not our Fully Virtual students who are scheduled to come in on Friday.

Parents/guardians and current in seat students, there is a half day of school this Friday, September 18, 2026. Students will be dismissed at 10:55 am. Staff will be participating in afternoon Professional Development session.

Sack lunches will be provided to those students who choose to take one when they leave the building.

Our Referral program is now in place. If you share information about our school and the student enrolls, make sure that they mention your name and you receive a $10 gift card for each student that enrolls and you are placed in a drawing for a $100 gift card.

Tuesday, September 8, 2026 is our first day of school!

For our first day it is an early release day for our in seat students. Breakfast starts being served at 7:30, with the first class to begin at 8:00 am. If you didn’t make it to the student/parent orientation, your class schedule will be in the front office where you can pick it up from Mrs. Stovall or Ms. Dawn.
A sack lunch will be provided if the student chooses to take one when classes end at 10:55 am.
If your student is virtual on the Tuesday afternoon session, they still need to report to the Virtual entrance for class.

Parents/Guardians, returning students,

Reminder; We are using Online enrollment through our school webpage: www.calhounhs.org. You will select the Online Enrollment tab and scroll down on the page to Returning Student Registration. The user name: first name dot last name and the password to be used is: Welcome123. It is case sensitive, so please make sure you are capitlizing the W in welcome. If your student is going to be a virtual student, you will also need to complete the Virtual Online Program Form 26-27 so we know what day they will be attending class on campus. All students that are returning to CCHS must re-enroll.

The school office will be open longer hours next week, Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, if you need to come to the office to complete registration or if you need assistance with registration. Classes start for our school on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 which will be an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 10:55 am.

There is also a Mandatory Student/Parent Orientation that must be attended on September 3, 2026. Returning in seat students session time is from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm and any student that is Virtual is from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm on September 3, 2026. If you have a new studeent, the orientation time is from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Parents/Guardians, as a reminder, if you have not yet re-enrolled your student, please go to our website: www.calhounhs.org and select the Online Enrollment tab at the top of the page. Once the page opens, please use the Returning Student registration for your student. If your student will be fully virtual, you will also need to complete the Virtual Program Online Form 26-27, which is listed under the Additional Forms on our Online Enrollment page.
