This is a post I have rewritten in my head more times than I can count.
After years of serving children, adults, and families in our community, NeuroPower Solutions will officially be closing its doors September 30, 2026.
Our boutique, By a Thread Collective, will also be closing.
This decision did not come easily. NeuroPower was never just a “business” to me.. (or Jane and Eva.) It was something we poured our hearts, time, energy, prayers, and lives into.
We have watched kids accomplish things their families once wondered if they would ever be able to do. We’ve celebrated firsts, big milestones, tiny victories, and those moments that may not look like much to the outside world but meant EVERYTHING to a family.
We’ve laughed with you, cried with you, prayed with you, worried alongside you, and probably cheered way too loudly a time or two. And we wouldn’t trade those moments for anything. ❤️
Unfortunately, due to my personal health concerns, unforeseen circumstances, and the financial reality of keeping a small business like ours going, it has become clear that it is time for this chapter to end.
And that’s probably the hardest part to admit.
We have always tried to lead with our hearts. There have been many times over the years when we continued providing services when payments weren’t made, worked with families who were struggling, extended grace, adjusted things behind the scenes, or simply absorbed costs because we cared about the child standing in front of us.
I don’t regret having a heart for people. But unfortunately, a business cannot continue indefinitely on heart alone.
As we close, we are still dealing with outstanding balances from services that were provided but never paid for, along with the normal expenses and obligations that come with shutting down a business. Because of that, while we would LOVE to simply give away our equipment, supplies, furniture and remaining inventory to families and organizations who could use it, financially we just aren’t in a position to do that.
So instead, we’re hoping to price things fairly, bless people with some really great deals, and use the proceeds to help us responsibly close out the business and the obligations that remain.
To every family who trusted us with your child, THANK YOU 💙.
To everyone who faithfully paid for services, shared our posts, referred a family, shopped our boutique, attended an event, encouraged us, prayed for us, or simply believed in what we were doing… THANK YOU.
You helped keep these doors open and allowed us to serve families for as long as we did. Please know that mattered AND we remember!
❤️ WHAT HAPPENS NEXT FOR OUR FAMILIES?
While NeuroPower Solutions itself will be closing, Jane will be offering independent, private in-home services for families who would like continued support. Her services will be completely separate from NeuroPower Solutions, but we’re incredibly thankful that families who wish to continue working with her may have that opportunity. More information about Jane’s independent services will be shared directly with our current families.
And Ms. Eva has decided this might finally be her sign that it’s time to RETIRE! ❤️ Although those of us who know her aren’t entirely convinced she knows how to do that. 😂

There are so many emotions wrapped up in closing these doors.
There is sadness. There is disappointment. There is guilt. There are certainly some what ifs. And there is grief in saying goodbye to something we worked so hard to build and my husband and I have invested A LOT into.
But more than anything, there is gratitude.
We got to do something that mattered. We got to know your kids. We got to watch them grow.
We got to celebrate victories with families who trusted us during some incredibly vulnerable seasons of their lives.
We got to be part of your story.
And no closing sign, empty building, or final sale can erase that.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all of the years you have supported NeuroPower Solutions and By a Thread Collective.
We will never forget this chapter. ❤️
