πŸ’šπŸΎ TOMORROW: WEAR GREEN! πŸΎπŸ’š

Friday is Mental Health Awareness Day, Bearcats!

So tomorrow, we’re turning SMS GREEN. πŸ’š

Wear green.
Wear a LOT of green.
Wear one green sock because apparently laundry is a suggestion. πŸ˜‚
Just show up in something green and help us spread the message that mental health matters.

And while you're at it:
πŸ’š Check on your people.
πŸ’š Be kind.
πŸ’š Take a breath when you need one.
πŸ’š Remember that everybody has stuff going on that you may not see.

GREEN = GOOD. BEARCAT KINDNESS = EVEN BETTER. πŸΎπŸ’šπŸ’›

Let's see just how green SMS can get tomorrow!

πŸŽ„ Holiday Assistance for Our Families πŸŽ„

The holiday season can be a wonderful time, but we know it can also bring extra financial pressure for families. If your family could use some help with Thanksgiving or Christmas, there are local programs accepting applications.

🎁 Santa's Helper
Santa's Helper is currently accepting applications for Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday baskets. Applications are being taken in person at First United Methodist Church in downtown Battle Creek.

πŸŽ„ Angel Tree – Salvation Army
The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program connects eligible children with community donors who purchase gifts from their holiday wish lists.

πŸ“‹ Please review the flyer for application locations, dates, deadlines, and required documents.

If your family needs assistance this holiday season, please don't wait until the last minute to apply. ❀️

We are sharing these resources because we want our Bearcat families to know about the support available in our community. πŸ’™πŸ’›
