Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with our Director as a lead teacher teaching your team and the children individualize developmentally appropriate lessons for each student in the class using the
HighScope Curriculum, and COR.

Establish and maintain strong lines of communication with the families of enrolled students.

Effectively communicate with our administrative team and classroom team members at regularly scheduled planning sessions and staff meetings in order to facilitate continuous.

Participate in ongoing professional development (minimum of 24 hours a year).

Maintain a safe care-giving environment and ensure the well-being and physical safety of all children.

Create an overall atmosphere in the classroom that promotes feelings of security and trust between students and teachers.

Adopt and fully engage with the Learning Zone PAC philosophy. Honor and uphold the values of diversity, education, and community that we have worked hard to establish.
