When we pray we should keep in mind all of the shortcomings and excesses we feel, and pour them out freely to God, our faithful Father, who is ready to help.

Jesus, when we are weak, build us up. Send the Holy Spirit to strengthen and encourage us. Inspire us to help each other and gain strength from our bond as a family. Increase our faith through daily prayer and Bible reading. Make us strong. Amen.

Lord, we do not like to suffer. But Your word tells us that suffering builds our endurance. If we just stick to the task, we can overcome. Finishing the task builds our character. And when we have character we will have hope. Thank You for that hope, Lord. Amen

Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be a stronger person. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle.

We have seen wild animals at the zoo, God, or pet animals in our neighborhood. They are so different, but interesting in their own way. Some are great big and others are so tiny we can hardly see them. One of the really neat things is when animals hide so well that we can't even find them. You did a great job creating animals, God. Thank You. Amen.
