No School? Day Camp!

Yesterday’s Day Camp was themed around International Taekwondo Day 🌎🥋

We had a great time celebrating with a small tournament for our campers who competed in Running Jumping Front Kick and Speeding Kicking for a chance to earn 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals 🥇🥈🥉

Parents Night Out 🎉

Our “Guess How Many Jelly Beans” challenge had guesses ranging from 20 all the way to 1400, and even “I don’t know, it’s yummy!” and “all of them.” The actual number? 603!

We raffled off some fun prizes, including a squishy, a free private lesson, and a $20 Kwang’s Taekwondo gift card!

The rest of the night was packed with a pizza party, active team games, and of course… Gaga Ball!

This week marked our last week of Summer Camp and the first week of our After School Program for the new school year!

We said goodbye to another fun summer at Kwang’s Taekwondo while welcoming some of our students back from school for afternoons filled with homework, Taekwondo, and time with friends.

A huge thank you to our instructors and all of our helpers who helped make Summer Camp possible! We are grateful for the time and effort put into making each week fun and memorable for our campers.

And of course, thank you to all of the families who spent their summer with us! We had an awesome summer and are grateful you chose to spend it with us.

Now we’re ready to kick off another great school year!

✨🏰 Disney Week 🏰✨

Our campers enjoyed Disney movies throughout the week, put their Taekwondo skills to the test in a Mulan training course, practiced their quick reflexes with “Andy’s Coming,” raced to sort pixie dust, and took on an “UP” challenge to keep the balloons off the floor 🥋🧚‍♀️🎈

We finished the week with a pizza party and our end-of-summer raffle!

For our campers heading back to school next week, we wish you an amazing start to the school year and thank you for spending your summer with us! And for those with one more week of summer left, we’ll see you bright and early for one last week of camp!
