It’s the first of June, and we are ready to, “Feed the Movement!”

This week, we are Wearing Pink, Spending Green, and Buying Black by intentional spending with Black-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and beverage brands.

Our collective goal is $8 million this month, and it starts with just $19.08. That’s one delicious meal, one specialty coffee, or one sweet treat. Let’s help “Build Our Economic Wealth,” one bite (or sip!) at a time.

Now that graduation season has come to a close and students have had the opportunity to reflect on their years of secondary education while preparing to begin their collegiate journeys, let us take a moment to proudly congratulate the 2026 Gamma Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Scholarship Recipients! 💕💚

During the month of May, we proudly continue to show support for our community during Mental Health Awareness Month. 💕💚 The Mental Health Awareness Committee created a more personal message to remind others that it is okay to slow down, breathe, and take time for yourself.

Take a moment to practice breathing and grounding techniques, enjoy a mindful walk, appreciate God’s beautiful green earth, and relax through slow breathing and positive affirmations. In the midst of busy schedules and life’s daily challenges, protecting your peace and mental wellness matters.

Please remember to be kind, extend grace, and love on one another. A small act of compassion can make a lasting impact on someone’s life.
