Today, we are celebrating SIX amazing seniors: Kayla Brown from Tara, Jamiah George from Scotlandville High, Elijah Jafri from Liberty, Walter Aguirre from Northeast, Preston Cao from Tara, and Dewayne Christopher Jr. from Broadmoor.
They are beginning a new chapter, embracing the challenge of striving for excellence in all they do, moving forward!

Our friends at Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary School are hosting a Christmas store for their students!
They are looking for gently used or new gifts that students can use their PBIS bucks (good behavior) to purchase gifts for themselves or for a family member. They could also use gently used uniforms that your kiddos may have outgrown. EBR uniforms are maroon shirts and navy bottoms.
A list of approved ideas for the store is in the comments. You can bring your donations to the BR Kids Building on Sunday, December 7 or 14!

Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary, in collaboration with The Magnolia Rose Foundation, is hosting the Empower, Connect, and Access for All Resource Fair on Thursday, September 25, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
This event is focused on providing resources and support for students with exceptionalities and their families. There will be a variety of community organizations sharing information to help families connect with services that make a real difference.
I’d love for you to come out and show your support. It’s going to be a great evening filled with valuable resources and connections!
