We need your help! To make our Trunk or Treat a success, we need volunteers who are willing to decorate their trunks and bring treats to hand out to the children participating.

Registration is free! Feel free to bring a variety of treats: candy, popcorn balls, small toys, etc. Our kids will appreciate it all!

There's also a chance to win Our People's Choice Award. Trick or Treaters and their families will vote on which car they think is the most festive. Prizes will go to the three cars with the most votes.

Registration is on our website-- there are limited spots available, so register soon!

Bring your Little Monsters on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4:30-8 PM, for a night of All Hallows fun!

Members from the parish and various ministries will have cars decorated in our parking lot with trunks full of Halloween treats for our kiddos. We will have games and music on the deck, and there will be food available.

At 5:30 PM, join us for a costume parade-- bring your superheroes, monsters, and royalty to show off their costumes to our community. Also, come and cast your vote for the best decorated car! Our People's Choice award will go to the three cars with the most votes.

If you know a child who has completed their First Eucharist and is in the 3rd grade or beyond, invite them to join us for training on September 21st at 4:00 p.m.!

NEW! Middle School After-School Bible Study

We are excited to begin a new After-School Bible Study for students in 6th–8th grade!

On select Tuesdays after school, students will walk from the school’s front office to the parish ministry building for an afternoon of Scripture, faith, discussion, and fellowship. Students will meet in separate boys’ and girls’ groups. Matt Conine will lead the boys’ group, and a mother from our parish will lead the girls’ group.

The Bible study will run after school until 4:15 PM. Parents may pick students up at the ministry building at 4:15. Students who attend Extension or have another activity on campus afterward will be walked back to campus and checked into their appropriate program.

Our first Bible study is Tuesday, September 8!

St. Monica, pray for us!

This week's Saint Spotlight focuses on St. Monica. Famously, St. Monica is the mother of the well-known theologian St. Augustine. Throughout her life, Monica was a devout Catholic who was known for her acts of service in her community, her dedication to prayer, and her unique brand of patience. Monica did not pester people into seeking the Lord, rather, she inspired them to seek Him through the witness of her faith. This is not to say that she was weak-willed. On the contrary, many scholars say that she was incredibly stubborn to have lived as she did. Though she was married to a Roman pagan who did not treat her well and her son, Augustine, strayed and led a sinful life for many years, Monica never stopped caring for them, praying for them, and she was a constant example of the gentle love the Father has for His children. Through her perseverance and patience, she led both her husband and son back to the Lord. Her life is a powerful example to the influence a dedicated mother and wife can have on her family.
