The Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System is dedicated to enhancing education, championing innovation and providing sustained financial support to public schools within the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. While a separate entity from the school system, the Foundation for EBRSS works closely with all stakeholders (teachers, principals, administrators, and parents, as well as the busi
ness community) to understand and address the most pressing, unmet needs. With the generous help of individuals, private organizations and corporations, the Foundation supports a variety of programs, specifically targeting the development of skills and knowledge in science, technology, engineering, art and math. Common to all high-achieving schools, the foundation focuses its efforts on three impact areas:

Transforming student engagement and motivation is essential to accelerating academic performance. The Foundation for EBRSS supports programs that:
• Utilize new technologies and encourage interest in much needed STEAM careers and workforce development

TEACHER AND LEADER IMPACT GRANTS
Accelerating academic performance for ALL students requires increasing the support for effective teaching, integrated learning and data-driven leadership. The Foundation for EBRSS supports programs that:
• Empower and reward teachers for implementing high-impact educational projects
• Provide professional learning opportunities such as guest speakers and attendance at seminars, conferences and workshops
• Encourage leadership development for all staff
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Quality education is a responsibility shared by school systems, families, communities, businesses, and government. Strategic alliances provide students with critical exposure to college and careers. The Foundation for EBRSS supports programs that:
