These kiddos worked so hard and both groups got sweepstakes! We are headed to State!!!! I couldn’t be more proud!!!

Our Concert Choir and Treble Choir have BOTH earned SWEEPSTAKES at Festival! That’s straight excellence across the board! Because of their outstanding performances, they’re officially STATE-BOUND and heading to Natchitoches next month!

Camp Istrouma Retreat 2026! We spent the day going over music for festival, Rockwall, climbing, paint, bowling, ax throwing, and making memories! It was one for the books

Another amazing LMEA All-State choir experience for these talented students!! 1,000 students auditioned across the state, 200 made it. Central High School Choir has 3!! Immensely proud of these students as they displayed their musicianship at this conference

Show Choir had a wonderful time entertaining the guests at The Claiborne At Shoe Creek , singing Christmas carols, and our concert pieces.

Dr. Alissa Rowe (director of choral activities at LSU) came to work with our talented students! So grateful!

Also, went to the middle school to meet the kiddos and sing with them!!
