Congrats to the FNP Class of 2026 for reaching the culmination of their scholarly projects! They recently presented their evidence-based-practice project proposals at the School of Nursing Showcase, which was hosted by the Research and Scholarship Committee (RSC). Two of our seniors tied for Best Graduate Nursing Poster, as voted on by the RSC, but they are all winners in our book! Not to mention, they’re one step closer to graduation - Dec. 2026!

“What’s been happening at the FranU FNP Program?” you may ask…
Well, ALL the things!
We are wrapping up the spring semester with a recent interprofessional educational event with the MSNS and DPT students. Students participated in Grand Rounds and discussed patient cases and how they could collaborate to improve patient outcomes.
Dr Martin finished up spring clinical visits and took a selfie with senior student, Courtney “Sloan” Gray, at the UMC ER in New Orleans. It’s a “hopping” place to learn!
And if you like what you see, and you’re an RN considering returning to school for your MSN-FNP, then look no further! Applications are open for Spring 2027 entry 🤗. Check us out at www.franu.edu/fnp

FranU FNP faculty are choosing to Walk with Francis by giving to the
FranU All In Employee Giving Campaign. This campaign is one meaningful way we can join colleagues
in supporting our students and the Franciscan mission of service we share.

May the promise of Easter fill your heart with peace, light and joy. Alleluia, He is risen. ✝️

Welcome, Welcome to one of our largest incoming groups of FNP students yet 🤗! This past Friday was mandatory orientation on campus for our senior students (Class of 2026) but also for our new students. These include students enrolled in our 2-year option and joining the Class of 2027, as well as those enrolled in our 3-year option to get the Class of 2028 off to a great start! Yes, three awesome cohorts are off and running, tackling their goals, advancing their skills, and preparing to provide primary care to their communities.
We are so proud of these nurses! We are inspired by their desire to keep working hard in spite of their individual challenges! We are motivated to help them achieve their dreams! We are FranU 💙💛!!
