Congratulations to Senior Warrior Alex Mayeux, our Athlete of the Week!

Alex stepped into a starting role he doesn’t typically play, filling in for a teammate who was out this week—and he made the most of his opportunity. In the Jamboree, Alex recorded 2 tackles and 2 forced fumbles, including a forced fumble that played a key role in the game-winning play!

While Alex is typically a special teams contributor and plays a secondary role, his willingness to step up when his team needed him most is a perfect example of what it means to be a Warrior. He showed that preparation, versatility and a team-first attitude can make a huge difference when your number is called.

And Alex’s excellence extends far beyond the football field. He is a member of our 30+ ACT Club and the National Honor Society, balancing the demands of being a student-athlete with an impressive commitment to academics.

Alex, congratulations on a well-deserved honor! We are proud of the way you answered the call and represented St. Michael both on the field and in the classroom!

The Lady Warrior volleyball team will be hosting a jamboree this afternoon to kick off their season! The Warriors will take the court beginning at 4:30pm on court 1 in the St. Sebastian gym. A second match for the Warriors is set to begin at 5:50pm on court 2 in the main gym.

Tickets can be purchased at https://app.i2tickets.com/b5f77f7b. Admission is $10 (plus fees). Free admission for under 10 years of age. Warrior Club passes will not be accepted for jamboree games.

This past Friday, our St. Michael family gathered for our first school Mass of the year, coming together in faith, prayer, and community. What a beautiful blessing it is to start the year by placing our students, faculty, and the year ahead in God’s hands!
