🌱✨ Our 2nd graders are growing their knowledge!

Our young scientists got their hands dirty as they planted their very own plants! 🪴🔬 Students explored what plants need to grow and survive and then put their learning into action through this hands-on science experience.

Now the real fun begins as they observe, care for, and track their plants’ growth! 🌿📏 We can’t wait to see what sprouts! 👀💚

🔬🌎 Our second graders took learning inside AND outsideeee as they explored the world around them! 🐯

🌱 Science: Students selected a sample study site and began observing a plant in its habitat over a period of time. They’re putting their scientist skills to work by making observations, noticing changes, and learning from the environment around them! 🔍🌿

🇺🇸 Social Studies: Students became geographers as they created their own anchor charts featuring Natural Landmarks in the United States! 🏔️🏞️

At The Villa, learning goes beyond the classroom! Our Tigers are exploring, creating, observing, and discovering every day. 🐾✨

With 9+ years of experience as a Teacher, Children’s Engineering Specialist, Math Coach, and Dean of Students, Mrs. Bertrand brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for student success.

In Mrs. Bertrand’s words:

It truly feels like coming home, and I can’t wait to see all of the learning, growth, and exciting opportunities this school year will bring.
