Yesterday, Pastor Jonathan shared wisdom with our students on pursuing encounters with God and positioning their daily lives to draw nearer to His voice.

Together, they explored what it means to seek Him intentionally, make room for His presence, and recognize the moments He speaks. Allowing those encounters to shape a deeper appreciation for His presence and a lasting faith.



Are you willing to trust God’s timing, even when the encounter comes unexpectedly?

What is one way you can actively pursue an encounter with God this week?

What familiar place, comfort, or pattern might God be asking you to step away from?

What would it look like for you to make intentional space to hear from God?

Where is God inviting you to linger a little longer instead of rushing on?

What are you holding onto that God may be asking you to place in His hands?

What might God be revealing about Himself in the middle of what you’re enduring?

Is there anything competing for the part of your heart God is asking you to give Him?

There’s something special about making space to slow down, lean in, and encounter God.

Today, our daytime students had the privilege of spending time with Pastor Jonathan, diving deeper into what discipleship looks like in the everyday. Not simply as something we study, but as a life we choose to live with Jesus.

Together, they explored what it means to know God personally and intimately, to cultivate a life of encounter, and to carry that relationship with Him into every part of their day.

We’re so grateful to Pastor Jonathan for taking the time to pour into our students and for the wisdom, encouragement, and heart he shared with them. Thank you for reminding us that following Jesus is both deeply personal and beautifully practical.

And to anyone looking for a place to grow deeper in your walk with Jesus, there’s a seat waiting for you in daytime class. ☀️📖

Super excited about my new role as Executive Director of Bethany Bible Training School 🙏🏻🙌🏻

A year at Bible school completely transformed me back when I was 17 years old, and launched me into the Jesus adventure that is my life today. I am eternally grateful for that year, and the strong foundation it built in my heart.

I pray the same for the 50+ fresh students of the new Bethany Bible Training School of Bethany Church | Louisiana 💙🎉

Today, our morning class gathered for our very first worship session, and we were reminded that everything we do starts in His presence.

There’s something special about a room full of hungry hearts, lifted hands, and voices declaring the goodness of Jesus. We’re so expectant for all that God is going to do in and through this school and through every moment we spend pursuing His heart.🤍
