"As a somewhat reserved individual, serving as a Les Voyageur for the LSU College of Agriculture has truly helped me step out of my shell. It has made me a better communicator, listener, and overall person. I especially value the friendships and knowledge this organization has provided me. It's rare for students to gain such in-depth knowledge about their senior college, but serving as an ambassador has given me this unique opportunity. It constantly reminds me of the endless opportunities and communities that LSU offers to students from all around the country. One thing I'll never forget is seeing the inspiration we offer to prospective students and to each other. "While serving as a Les Voyageur, I was able to grow slightly in my own humility. I thought that joining as a senior, there would not be much about the College of Agriculture that I did not already know. That could not have been further from the truth. After being a part of the College of Agriculture for three years, there were still so many opportunities, clubs, study abroad trips, etc. that I didn't even know existed! It helped teach me no matter how much experience you think you have, there is always an opportunity to come into new knowledge."

"I wanted to join the LSU College of Agriculture Les Voyageurs team because of my passion for recruiting students to LSU and the opportunity to connect more deeply with the College of Agriculture. This organization had allowed me to represent the College at events on campus and across the state, engaging with prospective students, industry professionals, and the agricultural community. One of my favorite parts of being an ambassador has been visiting high schools. Growing up, I was involved in 4-H and FFA, which significantly impacted my life and fostered my love for agriculture and leadership. I enjoy connecting with current 4-H and FFA members, sharing my experiences, and showing them how they can continue their journey in agriculture at LSU. It's rewarding to relate to them and help guide them towards the opportunities available at LSU. Being a Les Voyageur has reinforced my commitment to advocating for the agriculture industry and helping others find their place."
