Math confidence starts at home, no math expertise required. šŸ’›

If math made you nervous growing up, you’re not alone—and you can still help your child build a healthy relationship with it. Try these simple ways to normalize math at home:

• Keep math talk positive (even when it’s hard)
• Allow productive struggle—struggle builds resilience
• Ask what they’re learning and share how you use math at work
• Model a growth mindset and treat mistakes as learning moments

Small shifts in attitude can make a big difference in confidence. ✨

šŸ”¬Happy National STEM/STEAM Day! šŸŽØToday’s all about celebrating curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

šŸ’ Tip for families: You don’t need fancy supplies to explore STEM/STEAM at home. Use what you already have — paper, tape, cardboard, or recycled items — and let your child design, build, or test something new.

Everyday curiosity counts! Ask questions like, ā€œWhat's another way to try this?ā€ or ā€œHow could we make this work differently?ā€ Those little moments of wonder help children think like scientists, engineers, and artists.
