🚀What an incredible Project Week at BASIS Baton Rouge Materra!
Throughout the week, our students explored, created, built, experimented, and collaborated through hands-on learning experiences that brought their passions to life beyond the classroom walls.
🍋From launching rockets and running the Tiny Traders Lemonade Stand to creating beautiful cyanotype prints, carving wood, painting oversized canvases, competing in Olympics-style challenges, designing games in Game Lab, and meeting fascinating reptile visitors up close, every project inspired creativity, curiosity, and teamwork.
Project Week gave students the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, try something new, think creatively, and learn in ways that extend far beyond a traditional classroom setting. Whether they were building, competing, exploring, discovering, or creating, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy.
💚A huge thank you to our incredible teachers and staff for making this week so meaningful and memorable for our students.
We can’t wait to see the lasting memories, skills, and inspiration our Gators carry with them from this amazing experience!
