Last Thursday, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Nu Psi Chapter participated in three separate events.
We kicked things off with a flower pass-out alongside , creating an early Valentine’s celebration and spreading love on campus. We also collaborated with the for a powerful event centered on reflection and the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. To close the day, we hosted our Phirst Impression educational event, where we discussed how to professionally approach employers, present yourself with confidence, and stand out during interviews.

On Tuesday, the Nu Psi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc. hosted our “Phresh Start” table sit. Brothers supported students by helping them establish their goals, setting the tone for the entire semester, connecting them to other students and reminding the community that excellence is not only our goal but the standard.

“Phresh Start” helped students understand that setting goals, working toward them together, and embracing excellence through the intentional process of goal-setting, creating culture, and being intentional with goal-setting is all part of creating the culture of excellence.

The work of Phresh Start has begun and we are off to a great start! We will continue to support our students in their journey and as they establish their goals for the remainder of their time in school, until they have reached their ultimate goal of earning their degrees. 🤙🏽

On Wednesday night, Alpha Phi Alpha’s Nu Psi Chapter hosted their Miss Old Gold and Black Pageant. Every contestant brought confidence, class, and poise. Thank you to everyone who came out judges, family, and friends who helped make a difference. 🖤💛
