AI literacy is becoming an essential skill, and LSU is helping students, faculty, staff and communities build that foundation.
The new, free AI Literacy Essentials course offered through LSU Online brings together interdisciplinary faculty expertise to help learners understand AI, use it responsibly, verify information and navigate academic and professional applications.
We’re proud to see CHSE faculty Jacqueline Bach, vice provost for Academic Programs & Support Services and professor in the Lutrill & Pearl Payne School of Education, and Edward Benoit III, director and associate professor in the School of Information Studies, contributing their expertise to this important university-wide initiative.
The course is available now to LSU students, faculty and staff and opens to the public on August 26.
