LSU Construction Management Founded in 1972, the Bert S. The Department of Construction Management is housed within Louisiana State University’s (LSU) College of Engineering.

Turner Department of Construction Management is dedicated to providing the construction industry with a graduate ready to accept the challenges of today's global market. As construction is the largest and most diversified industry in the world, the key professionals in this vast enterprise are Construction Managers (CM). They are the leaders who possess the business skills, experience, and educati

on to manage the execution of any construction work in the private or public sector. Recognizing the rising complexity of new construction projects and the increased speed of technology, the CM Department is dedicated to providing the construction industry with a graduate ready to accept the challenges of today’s global market. Our construction management undergraduate degree program was established in 1972 and has been accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) since 1982.

We had the best time kicking off the semester with our Construction Student Association Welcome Event featuring Jeremiah’s Italian Ice! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed some Italian ice, and kicked off another great year with CSA! We loved getting to meet new members, catch up with returning members, and start the semester surrounded by our construction community. 🏗️🦺

LSU Construction Management students, now is the time to start preparing for Fall 2026 Construction Interviewing Day (CID)!

Construction Interviewing Day
Friday, October 23 | 8:15 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
📍 LSU Student Union | Royal Cotillion Ballroom

Be sure to review the student timeline, important deadlines, policies, and procedures so you’re ready for every step of the process. Students can begin completing pre-selection steps now, and the deadline to apply for CID jobs and internships is September 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Don’t wait until the last minute—resumes must be approved through the Career Center before applying!
