It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of Scotlandville High School student Joshua Robinson Jr.
We recognize that many members of our school community will be affected by this news and may be experiencing a range of emotions as they process this tragic loss. As we remember Joshua, let us also remember the importance of caring for one another, checking on our friends, and leaning on our school community for strength. It is important that we come together to support one another with compassion, care, and respect.
If you are struggling with this news or simply need someone to talk to, please know that support is available. Scotlandville High School and I CARE counselors are available to assist students who may be experiencing grief, anxiety, or emotional distress. We encourage any student or family in need of support to contact the school, and we will do everything we can to connect you with appropriate resources and counseling services.
We ask our Scotlandville family to keep all those affected by this tragedy in their thoughts and to continue showing kindness and care for one another in the days ahead.
