❤️💙 Twenty years later, Katherine Smith Bligard is still making us proud!

The Advocate recently caught up with area graduates who were voted "Most Likely to Succeed" by their classmates in 2006, and we were thrilled to see Parkview alumna Katherine Smith Bligard featured in the special series.
It's always exciting to see our alumni making an impact in their careers, communities, and families while continuing to reflect the values that shaped them during their time at PBS.

Fetal surgeon connects with patients and more: Parkview Baptist School Most Likely to Succeed 2006 Bligard’s path from a math degree at LSU to fetal surgery demonstrates her evolving passion in medicine. She specializes in treating pregnancies with fetal anomalies and performing rare in utero procedures.

Positive Athlete is a national organization that promotes the benefits of positivity among young athletes through awards, scholarships, and special opportunities. Since 2013, the organization has recognized thousands of student-athletes and awarded more than $700,000 in scholarships nationwide.

We are proud of Lucy for earning this prestigious honor and for the positive example she sets both on and off the course!
