š§ Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental health conditions, affecting millions of people across the lifespan. Emerging research suggests that untreated anxiety may do more than impact emotional well-beingāit may also be linked to an increased risk of neurological conditions such as dementia, Alzheimerās disease, Parkinsonās disease, and schizophrenia.
Join Christopher M. Hill, PhD, Assistant Professor of Motor Behavior and Director of the Motor Neuroscience Laboratory at LSU, for an engaging online presentation exploring the relationship between anxiety disorders and neurological disease. Participants will gain insight into the symptoms and brain mechanisms underlying anxiety and examine current research on how anxiety may predict future neurological decline.

⨠Today wasnāt just a celebrationāit was a milestone moment. āØ
We had the honor of celebrating our BSW and HDFS undergraduate students at a brunch in recognition of their upcoming graduation from the LSU School of Social Work.
These students have spent years learning how to advocate, uplift, and create changeāand theyāre now on the brink of stepping into the work our communities need. From late nights and hard conversations to growth and breakthroughs, this moment is well earned.
š Carry your purpose boldly. Lead with empathy. Change systems, not just outcomes.
š Tag your cohort, share a favorite memory, and tell usāwhere are you headed next?
