Greek Tragedy of 5th Century Athens and the modern Blues music of 1920’s New Orleans come together in an explosive, moving and timeless exploration of what it means to hurt like a human.

🎭 An all-female cast of powerful voices featuring talented faculty, student, and community artists confront the consequences of violence and its survival in a world moving from retribution towards compassion. We hope.

🎵 Original music and arrangements by Brian Breen complement text and lyrics by George Judy, with innovative sound design by Tyler Kieffer and Dramaturgy from Barrett Hileman.

🆓 This is a FREE event, sponsored by the Provost Fund for Big Ideas in the Humanities and the LSU School of Theatre & Film.

Hello School of Theatre and Film Community,

We are in great need of more individuals to work on Run Crew for both of the Fall productions (A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and POTUS.) I ask that you consider the opportunity to participate on one of the productions. It is a great way to be involved and no experience is required. That said, if you have experience and would be interested in a more responsible position, please let me know. Email [email protected] for more information. Thank you.
