Congratulations to the recipients of the Neil and Arlene Kestner College of Science Superior Graduate Student Scholarship! 🎉
The scholarship recognizes graduate students for their achievements and promise in materials science. It honors the late LSU Professor Emeritus Neil Kestner, a pioneer in theoretical physical and computational chemistry whose influential work on electron transfer was recognized by Rudolph “Rudy” Marcus during his 1992 Nobel Prize acceptance speech. Kestner was inducted into the LSU College of Science Hall of Distinction in 2017.
