Last week, members of our exec board attended the national ATO Congress in Orlando, where our hard work over the last year has paid off, as we earned our fourth True Merit Award in a row. The True Merit award is the highest honor an ATO chapter can receive, and we are honored to be selected as a recipient again this year. Keep up the hard work going into this upcoming year boys

Congratulations to Brother .rhettm for highlighting this week's Summer spotlight! Rhett is the newly elected president of the Medical Chapter of Global Brigades at LSU
Rhett’s Why ATO?: ATO is special to me because of a few things. One is how being away from home is a lot easier with this group of guys. It’s awesome to know that there are over 100 different people you can call up and have lunch with. The mutual respect everyone has for other members in the chapter reflects in our daily lives. Self esteem, confidence, and other personal relationships are restored just by reaching out to someone in the chapter. Going through school together is also a huge deal. Having someone who is struggling the same as you really helps you to cope and succeed likewise. Other than ATO, I am president of the medical brigades chapter of LSU. I am also involved in research for the college of agriculture.
