This day continues to be one of the toughest in my life...does it ever get easier? I miss you everyday Mommy...there are so many moments that have happened throughout this year that I have wanted to talk through with you, cry with you, laugh with you and feel that unconditional love from you. The love that always let me know that I am valued, special and will make it...I miss your laugh, your smile...I miss you. Happy birthday beautiful to my beautiful ancestor guardian and angel.

My heart hurts for you today Mommy...I miss your voice, your laughter, your fragrance, your unconditional love, your place in our family, the stuff that represented you and your memories...I miss you mommy. I know that life goes on and people move on...but all of that doesn't mean that you are forgotten by me, or my heart hurts less...I am trying hard to find my place and be happy and supportive and go with the flow while letting go of all that I knew and loved, my traditions, my memories, my trinkets...it will take time. Just know I love you with all my heart and I so value all that you taught me.
