This morning, we welcomed our newest ABC Pelican members at our New Member Orientation Breakfast. New members, existing members, and staff came together to learn more about the programs, events, resources, and opportunities available through ABC Pelican.

Attendees learned how to make the most of their membership, connect with others in the industry, and get involved with ABC Pelican. As an added bonus, several new members received a behind-the-scenes tour of our Baton Rouge Training Center to see firsthand how we are helping develop Louisiana’s future construction workforce. 🔧👷

⭐ FACES OF ABC ⭐

This month, we’re highlighting Carson DeLarue, Vice President of Governmental Affairs for ABC of Louisiana.

Carson plays a key role in supporting not only ABC Pelican and ABC Bayou, but the entire state of Louisiana through advocacy, legislative engagement, and support of the Merit Shop philosophy. 👏

From keeping members informed on important legislative updates to monitoring the ever-changing political climate, Carson works behind the scenes to help protect and strengthen the construction industry across our state. His efforts help ensure that ABC members stay informed, engaged, and represented on the issues that matter most.

💬 Fun Fact: Carson is a HUGE fan of Kid Rock and has been to 4 of his concerts so far, so there’s a good chance “Cowboy” is playing somewhere between legislative committee meetings. 🤠🎸
