⚡ STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: JOHN RAMSDELL ⚡

For John Ramsdell of DeQuincy, choosing a career in the skilled trades started with some advice from his dad: electrical and instrumentation are two paths that go hand in hand and can lead to a strong, financially stable career.

John graduated from our Electrical program last year and is now continuing his training in Instrumentation at our Southwest Training Center.

His favorite part of training? The hands-on instruction that helps connect what he learns in the classroom to what he sees on the job.

💬 “I can confidently say that ABC trade school has helped me in retaining the info and teaching me what I need to know for where I work.”

For anyone considering a career in construction, John keeps his advice simple: learn as much as you can, retain as much as you can, and carry it with you into the field.

We’re excited to kick off something new! 🛠️📚

ABC Pelican is proud to be at the Dr. Gaynell C. Young Center at Port Hudson as we begin our very first Core class at the facility!

A special thank you to Zachary Community School for partnering with us to help bring construction education and training opportunities to the community. We’re excited to see where this partnership takes us and even more excited to welcome our first group of students!
