Meet one of Jojo’s Hope’s dedicated volunteers:
Ava Sims is a senior at Mount Carmel Academy and a dedicated swimmer with Tiger Aquatics. Known for her strong work ethic and commitment in the pool, Ava has balanced academics and athletics throughout her high school career. She will continue her swimming journey at the University of Wyoming next year on a swim scholarship, where she looks forward to competing at the collegiate level.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Ava is a valued volunteer with Jojo’s Hope. She is especially great at giving clear, supportive directions to children with special needs and approaches each interaction with patience and care. Her kindness and natural ability to connect with kids make her an incredible asset to the program and a truly meaningful part of the Jojo’s Hope community.
