🦋 Can you spot the butterflies?! 👀🌿

Our 3rd graders put camouflage to the test with a little butterfly hunt! Each class hid butterflies throughout the room for the other class to find — giving students a hands-on look at how camouflage helps living things blend into their surroundings.

Learning is always more fun when it feels like an adventure! 🦋🔎💚

Today our 7th graders got to meet their 1st grade prayer partners! 🤍🙏

The beginning of such a sweet friendship rooted in faith, prayer, and community. We can’t wait to watch these special bonds grow throughout the school year! 🦁❤️

Third grade is putting their green thumbs—and their science skills—to the test! 🌱🫘🔬

Our classes are experimenting with what bean plants really need to grow by testing all kinds of conditions: artificial light, complete darkness, too dry, too wet, and just right! ☀️💧

Now we watch, wait, and see which beans thrive! Nothing beats a little hands-on learning! 🌱💚

We’re reaching for the moon! 🚀🌙

After reading Reaching for the Moon by Buzz Aldrin, our students put a little science into action and launched rockets of their own using Alka-Seltzer tablets! 🧪🚀

A little reading + a little science + a whole lot of excitement = learning that’s truly out of this world! 🌎✨

✨ Calling all future Altar Servers! ✨

St. Aloysius welcomes students in 4th grade through high school to become Altar Servers and take part in this special way of serving our parish community. ❤️⛪️

New servers are asked to attend one training session of their choice. Our first two fall trainings will be:

📅 August 25 or August 26
🕒 After school until 4:30 p.m.
📍 Students should report directly to the church when school dismisses.
🍪 Snacks and drinks will be provided!

Two additional September training dates will be announced soon.

Already an Altar Server? Returning servers are welcome to join us for a refresher!
