Well, this morning a crew from Ascension Parish came out to the site with a small front-end loader and backfilled in about an hour the excavation units that it took us six weeks to dig by hand! While it may seem that this represents the "end" of the project, it really just marks the beginning. We have thousands of artifacts to process, identify, and analyse. Be sure to keep checking in on us as we will continue to post updates as our work progresses -- Rob Mann
