Ok hornet battalion its time to go out with a bang ! Make sure your grades are sitting @ a 2.0 or better and you can leave knowing you did your best. Also good luck to all of you going to JCLC and STEMS. Be safe , have fun and watch your surroundings.

Well tomorrow is a big day for our drill team and color guard teams. It's the Louisiana State Drill Meet! We pray for a safe trip home and back and we r counting on hard work,dedication,and prayer that we can take it all at the awards. To all cadets,study hard and also look your best...lastly GO HORNET BATTALION!

ATTENTION CADETS: The annual State Drill Meet @ Northwestern State University is rescheduled for Saturday March 3,2012 and we are so excited. So get your game faces on and be ready to practice to shape up our already perfected craft. Best wishes to all team.

Scotlandville JROTC Honor guard/Color guard looked very well dressed and their behavior was spectacular. Although we had an issue here and there we always adapt and overcome. On a down note The Hornets lost tonight 28-25 to Central High School.

Scotlandville Hornet Battalion is sarting out strong. They placed in many events at the first drill meet of the year at Woodlawn High School. All teams showed that hard work and dedication really pays off in the end. Despite the trials an tribulations of the day we adapted and overcame. Great job hornets

Scotlandville Hornets are on fire 2011-2012 year..We are proud to have such a high speed low drag JROTC this year and we plan to keep our hornet pride! Also Congrats to our spectacular honor guard and color guard for a job well done at the scotlandville hornets first home fotball game. The hornets took on the Belaire High school bengals and they won 61-0.

Everyone have a safe and Happy Holidays. Also Drill Team, Color Gaurd, and Riffle Team going strong. Congrats to the cadets that participated in the Banks,Louisiana Christmas parade.

Flag Day was A huge Success!!! The cadets were very proud of themselves, also Colonel Mangham, and visiting JROTC DAI LTC. Hyver. The spectators could not believe there eyes. IT WAS TRULY WONDERFUL!!! In other news the hornets have a game against the Central Wildcats. GO HORNETS! HORNETS LEAD THE WAY!

Hornet battalion had there first uniform day and it was a major success. In other news the Hornets beat the SU Lab kittens in Thursday nights game. GO HORNETS! Keep it where you got it and stay locked in with SMHS Hornet Elite

It is getting close to our opening Enrollment day and we are proud to say that we have a battalion that the best group of young people in the country. We hope that the world is ready because The Hornet Battalion is on there way and ready to sting anybody in the way with our talents.
