Spend the day in the kitchen building real culinary skills at our High School Culinary Skills Class on June 19. Students will gain hands-on experience while learning from professional chef instructors in a real kitchen environment.

LCI chefs recently joined the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce for a great opportunity to connect with community leaders and share more about hands-on culinary education.

Doyle High School’s ProStart Program students had an incredible time filled with hands-on learning and real culinary experiences. Their recent visit to LCI gave students the opportunity to experience professional culinary training through live demos, a campus tour, and a chef-prepared lunch.

With support from the LRAEF School Support Fund grant, students also gained access to new equipment that helped support multiple catered events throughout the year. We’re proud to support the next generation of culinary talent.
