Mercy Autism Center is proud to announce that we are now a Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) Provider!

This exciting milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and professional development.

As an ACE Provider, Mercy Autism Center will be able to offer BACB-approved Continuing Education (CE) opportunities for our BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs allowing our clinical team to earn CEUs while expanding their knowledge, strengthening their clinical skills, and staying current with evidence-based practices.

We believe that investing in our team means investing in the quality of care we provide to the children and families we serve every day.

With more than 10 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, Anne brings exceptional clinical expertise, compassionate leadership, and a deep commitment to helping individuals with autism achieve greater independence and improved quality of life. In her new role, she will lead our clinical programs, mentor our team of behavior analysts, and continue advancing Mercy's mission of providing individualized, evidence-based ABA services to the families we serve.

We are excited for the future under Anne's leadership and look forward to the positive impact she will make on our staff, patients, and community.

B.U.D.S. Program Update

Building the Right Foundation Before the Big Step.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement surrounding our B.U.D.S. Program (Building Understanding, Development, and Strengths) — and we have a special update to share with our community!

💛 All B.U.D.S. spots are currently FULL.
We are so moved by the response this program has received, and we want every family who reached out to know: we hear you, and we are working diligently to expand capacity and support more students as soon as possible. Your children deserve this, and we are committed to making it happen.

📌 Please Note: The B.U.D.S. Program reaching capacity does not affect MRA’s enrollment of students with Autism. Magnolia Roots Academy currently serves and will continue to enroll students with Autism. At this time, however, additional on-site ABA therapy and in-classroom behavioral support services through Mercy Autism Center are temporarily unavailable until capacity is expanded. We will communicate updates to our community as soon as more spots are available.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We are thrilled to announce that 2026–2027 Registration for Infants through 12 Years is officially open to the public (existing customers are accounted for)! A limited number of 2026 Summer Camp spots (Pre-K 3 & 4, School-Age) are also still available — don’t miss your chance to secure your child’s place at the parish’s best summer camp.

Important Enrollment Information
Magnolia Roots Academy has proudly operated as a private institution (formerly known as Adventureland Kids) for over 20 years in Ascension Parish. Our rebrand reflects our growth — our standards remain unchanged. As a private school, MRA does not hold Type III facility licensure and does not participate in the Child Care Assistance Program, B-3 Program, LA4 Program, or similar subsidy programs. We are LDOE licensed with Type I and Type II facilities.

How to Register
All available spots are listed by facility on our website and are updated in real time. We ask that families please refrain from calling or emailing the center to inquire about availability — if a spot appears full on the website, it is full.
• 📅 April is exclusively reserved for active registration.
• 📋 Waitlisting opens in May.

✅ If your spot is available — you are welcome to request a tour! Tours are offered daily on a first-come, first-served basis, just like registration.

To register or request a tour, email the applicable center using the address listed under your preferred location on our website. We will send your registration form directly.
