On yesterday, the Baton Rouge Delta Alumnae Chapter’s Technology Committee hosted its first Delta Digital Empowerment Academy (DDEA) session.

The session was highly interactive, and our members came prepared with many thoughtful questions and ready to learn how to navigate the computer and CVent, for virtual regional conference participation.

The first session of our DDEA was a huge success!

Job well done BRD!!! Meeting our members where they are! Thank you to our volunteers for your hard work and dedication.

Happy Pride Month to our sorors, partners, and friends!

Delta Sigma Theta has always stood for love, inclusion, and respecting the full dignity of every person. While we remain anchored in that legacy, we also acknowledge the need to continue to evolve with intention by championing affirming policies, and forging a culture where every member is seen, valued, and protected.

This Pride Month, we honor and celebrate the beautiful diversity and strength of the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to being allies in the fight for a better future where the freedom to love and exist in one's authentic identity is not contingent on the political climate. Especially when that freedom is being challenged, we choose to show up louder, love harder, and stand firmer in our commitment to justice for all.
