Our Pre-K Swamp Owls were visited by Grandmother Marguerite from the West Baton Rouge Museum. She taught them about life in LA in the 1880s. The students churned butter and ate it, we did some chores that kids in the 1880s would have done, and we played with toys from long ago. It was quite different but we had fun!

Our PreK Swamp Owls were treated to a visit from the Bluebonnet Swamp. The students were introduce to us some special visitors that enhanced their animal study. Many thanks to Ms. Harper from Bluebonnet Swamp! We learned a lot from you. Thank you Ms. Jaki for was an integral part of making this happen.

Thank you to Ochsner Health Education and Community Outreach for visiting Mrs. Jacocks PreK4 class to teach her students about babies! The students learned how to hold and swaddle the babies, how to measure them, listen to their heart, and take the foot and finger printings.

At Discovery, we help our students meet their potential. Students, 2nd through 5th grade, can received high-dosage tutoring for 30-minutes, 3 times per week by our certified virtual teachers.

Our 1st Grade Swamp Owls had a 💥blast on their field trip to the Knock Knock Museum.
