FranU Respiratory Therapy Program

We enjoyed the students from Prairieville High on FranU campus and the high school campus last week. The students had an opportunity to use some of the equipment we use in the hospital with our patients.

Even one staff member said she was going to switch her major!!!

Respiratory Therapy is an amazing profession and it's very rewarding!!

Today, our respiratory therapy students learned how to measure the landmarks for setting a patient up for a sleep study.

The respiratory therapist plays a vital role in helping to diagnose various sleep disorders like obstructive sleep apnea.
