Five Things Successful High School Football Programs Do Well
Weekly goals: Teams were guided by clear, meaningful goals or a core set of values, and players defended them to teammates and coaches.
Adaptability: Both players and coaches are problem solvers.
Ownership: Both players and coaches understand the standard and take accountability when it is not met.
Teaching first: Coaches earn the respect of the players by being both knowledgeable and skilled communicators.
Preparation: Your offseason strength program is your foundation and sets the culture for the season. The team that shows up on Friday nights in August - December is the team you built in January-July.
